League Enters Third Season

2024 schedule announced

Five months after Austin FC II lifted the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro title, the 2024 regular season is upon us. The full 2024 Regular Season schedule for Major League Soccer is here.

The league, which launched in 2022 as a third division below MLS and USL Championship, will feature 28 teams in 2024, including four new expansion teams: Des Moines Menace, FC Tulsa II, Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2.

The regular season will run from March 29 to October 26, with each team playing 34 games. The top eight teams in the standings at the end of the regular season will qualify for the playoffs, which will begin on November 2.

The 2024 MLS NEXT Pro championship game will be played on December 14.
