The Lakers scored the first two points of overtime and never looked back. Anthony Davis led the way with 25 points and 12 rebounds, while LeBron James added 24 points and 10 rebounds. Russell Westbrook came up clutch with a number of key plays down the stretch, including a three-pointer with 1:30 left in overtime that gave the Lakers a six-point lead.
The Timberwolves were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who had 33 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Edwards added 25 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Lakers' strong performance in overtime.
